ne güzeldi o akşam saatlerinde, henüz hava tam kararmamışken, bacalardan tüten dumanların isiyle, sokaklardan gelen uzak boğuk ortam sesleri... anneannem namazını kılardı, sessizce fısıldadığı duaların tonu, rükuya varırken eklemlerinde çıkan tıkırdamalar, sobanın üst kapağından tavana yansıyan ateşin ışığı, tiktak tiktak; salondaki saatin sessizliği. galiba ben o günleri çok özledim.   

Corona Bread





Since we are at home now and buying bread from outside is dangerous. I want to offer you a bread recipe that you can make at home in a very practical way. You will want to make this bread, which is healthier than simple breads with its appearance and taste, every day. Enjoy your meal in advance.

Ingredients for Corona Bread are as follows:

* 6 cups of  flour
* 2.5 glasses of warm water
* A package of Pakmaya or similar brand dry instant yeast
* Half a tea glass of olive oil (or sunflower oil)
* A teaspoon of granulated sugar

* 2 teaspoons of salt


The recipe is as follows:

First, we pour a pack of ready-made dry yeast into a deep plastic container or pot.
We pour the warm water into it.
Then we pour the sugar and mix it with the help of a wooden spoon.
After it is completely melted, we continue to pour the salt and flour into the pot and mix.


We continue kneading for about 2-3 minutes. It does not matter whether you use wooden spoons or knead by hand: As long as the ingredients are completely mixed and a soft dough is obtained.


After the soft dough is obtained, we let it rest at room temperature for about 1 hour. 


Do not forget to cover the dough with a stretch film / cover (do not leave a spoon in it).


Our dough was well rested and almost swollen twice. Now we need a wide baking tray.


 We lay out greaseproof paper on the tray. Then we pour the dough into  tray with the help of hand or wooden spoon: lung shape as in the photo.




We keep the dough in the tray for another 5 minutes. Meanwhile, we adjust our 200 degree oven.


 We put water in a container that will not break in the oven, we place it at the bottom of the oven.

In the meantime, don't forget to sprinkle very little flour on our waiting dough.

Now our oven is ready, we place our tray in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Our breads are ready. You should wait for it to cool down to cut our bread transversely.

The outer surface is crunchy, the inside is soft and this bread is good for everyone.

PS: If desired, you can add raisins, walnuts and almonds.
